Thoughts of a History Maker

There are the mottos of a few of the oldest campuses (and most prestigious) in America.  

Princeton
- Vitam Mortuis Reddo (I restore life to the dead)
- Dei Sub Numine Viget (Under God’s power she flourishes) 

Columbia 
- In Lumine Tuo Videbimus Lumen (“In Thy Light shall we see light,” - Psalm 36:9b) 

Brown
- In Deo Speramus (In God we hope)

Dartmouth (MY FAVORITE!)
- Vox Clamantis in Deserto (“A voice crying out in the wilderness,” - Matt 3:3)

All information was taken from God on Campus.  These mottos just scream the faith and biblical foundations that these campuses had!  So much has changed….yet, this gives me hope about what can happen at UC Merced and what we can become.  Well, time to read on about student movements!
